Two people were injured in separate accidents in Southeast Missouri, the Highway Patrol said.
David Bryant, 38, of Scott City was treated and released at St. Francis Medical Center after he was injured in a two-vehicle accident at 9:45 p.m. Tuesday on Route N, three miles south of Scott City.
The Highway Patrol said the accident occurred when Bryant's northbound vehicle ran off the roadway. Bryant lost control of the vehicle, which swerved into the path of another northbound vehicle driven by Francis Cassout, 63, of Scott City. Cassout wasn't injured.
An accident at 1:37 p.m. Wednesday in Mississippi County injured Joshua Powell, 20, of Charleston. He was treated and released at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
The accident occurred on Highway 105, just south of Charleston.
According to the patrol, the accident occurred when Powell lost control of his southbound Jeep. The vehicle left the roadway and overturned. Powell was thrown from the vehicle.
