TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE FOR BASEBALL GAME

Ticket sales for Southeast Day at Busch Stadium have topped the 600 mark.

The Saturday event in St. Louis is sponsored by Southeast Missouri State University and the Southeast Missourian. The Cardinals will face the Chicago White Sox in a 12:15 p.m. game.

Tickets are $17 for adults and $9 for children ages 4 to 15, and children 3 and under will be admitted free if they sit on their parents' laps. Participants can take a chartered bus to the game for an extra fee.

The university has been sponsoring a trip to the ballpark for nearly 16 years. Last year marked the first time the Southeast Missourian co-sponsored the trip. Its purpose is to promote Southeast Missouri.
