PATTON -- A one-car accident Highway 72 in Bollinger County injured three people early Saturday, the Missouri Highway Patrol said.
The accident occurred at 1:09 a.m., a mile west of Patton.
The driver, Anthony Ellis, 38, and passenger Imogene Cook, 44, of Sedgewickville were taken by Medivac helicopter to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Ellis was reported in stable condition and Cook in serious condition at the medical center Saturday night.
Another passenger, Richard Post, 39, of Fenton was taken by private vehicle to Southeast Missouri Hospital where he was reported in fair condition Saturday night.
The accident occurred when the car left the roadway. The driver over corrected, the patrol said. The vehicle ran off the road and overturned, striking a tree. All three occupants were ejected from the vehicle.
