The second session of aquatic classes offered by the Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department will begin Monday and run through March 4.

Classes will include: Water Babies, preschool, youth, swimnastics, lifeguard training, springboard diving, snorkeling, basic water safety and emergency water safety.

A water safety instructor course will be offered from 6-10 p.m. on April 19, 21, 26 and 28, and May 3, 5, 6, 10, 12 and 13.

A special, weeklong lifeguard training course began Feb. 8.

A weekend lifeguard training course will be offered March 6 and 7, and 13 and 14 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Persons wishing to take such classes should register at the A.C. Brase Arena Building, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays. For more information, call the Parks and Recreation office at 335-5421 or the Central Pool office, 335-4040.
