A Chinese wedding ceremony and a 10-course dinner will be held Sunday at 5:30 p.m. in the University Center Ballroom on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University.
The Chinese Student Association at Southeast is sponsoring the event, which will feature a wedding gown ordered from Hong Kong.
"We are donating it (the gown) to the university museum," said Susan Ho, association president.
The food, she said, will be "real Chinese food, not American Chinese food."
The cost to attend the ceremony and dinner is $14 a person. Reservations can be made by calling Ho at 334-0395 or the Center for International Studies at 651-2557.
Ho said the Chinese Student Association hopes to sell 200 tickets. The event is a fund-raiser for the association. The association has about 80 members from China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Malaysia.
