The Southeast Missouri State University art department will offer three workshops this summer.

The Age of Napoleon is a two-hour undergraduate or graduate workshop in art history. The workshop provides a historical background on the art, customs and trends in Europe during the time of Napoleon. The course will be held June 15-18 and 22-24.

A special overnight trip is planned to Memphis, Tenn., on June 25 to view the special, comprehensive exhibition of art, objects and personal possessions associated with Napoleon, said Bill Chamberlain of Southeast's art department. The workshop may be taken for three credit hours through special arrangement.
