SCOTT CITY -- Keri E. Baber of Scott City has been awarded a Regents' Scholarship and a Missouri Leadership Award to attend Southeast Missouri State University for the 1995-96 academic year.

The Regents' Scholarship is awarded to high school seniors who graduate in the top 10 percent of their class and who have achieved an ACT score of 28 or SAT score of 1,160.

Regents' scholarships also are awarded to class valedictorians or salutatorians who have achieved an ACT score of 25 or SAT score of 1,160.

The award covers full-time fees per semester and is renewable for four years if the recipient maintains a 3.5 grade point average.

The Missouri Leadership Award is a one-year award designed for Missouri students who have achieved an ACT score of 24 or SAT score of 990 and a 3.0 grade point average.

Recipients also must demonstrate leadership abilities. The award is applied toward residence hall fees.

Baber is the daughter of David and Marsha Baber of Scott City and Margaret Baber of Cape Girardeau. She will graduate from Scott City High School in 1995.
