Motorists can expect traffic delays on the Mississippi River Bridge at Cape Girardeau this week as Missouri Department of Transportation crews continue making repairs to the structure.

Traffic is scheduled to be reduced to one lane from noon to 5 p.m. Monday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, and 7:30 a.m. to noon on Thursday.

Delays of 10-15 minutes can be expected during those times, MoDOT officials said. No oversized loads will be allowed to cross the bridge during those hours, they said.
