Sixteen residents of Cape Girardeau have been initiated into the Phi Eta Sigma scholastic honor society at Southeast Missouri State University.

Woemmel, son of Jerry and Brenda Woemmel; Amy E. Wencewicz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas V. Wencewicz; Carmen R. Vandeven, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James H. Vandeven; Diana M. Sexton, daughter of Diana Sexton of Bloomingdale, Ill., and Bob Sexton of Schaumburg, Ill.; Janise R. Seres, daughter of Gilbert and Jean Seres; Tonya M. Scherer, daughter of Dennis and Sharon Scherer; Amelia K. LeGrand, daughter of Ralph and Verneda LeGrand; Tracy L. LaRose, daughter of David and Brenda LaRose; Karen Green, daughter of William and Lorene Newell of Oak Ridge; Dylan McKendree Dunavan, son of Dr. and Mrs. Daniel Dunavan; Susan M.
