CAPE GIRARDEAU -- A public forum on "Perspectives about the Middle East" will be held tonight at 7 in the University Center ballroom on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University.
The program is sponsored by the department of history and the College of Liberal Arts.
The program will feature Dr. Roger Arpin, department of mass communications, on media perspective; Maqsood Choudary, political science department, on Arab perspective; Martin Hecht, businessman and former member of the Board of Regents at Southeast, on Israeli perspective; Dr. Gerald Stott, sociology department, on Jordanian perspective; and Dr. George Ketcham, professor emeritus of history, a historical perspective.
Dr. Dalton Curtis, director of interdisciplinary studies for the University Studies program, will serve as moderator.
