U.S. Rep. Jo Ann Emerson will make a campaign swing through Southeast Missouri next week on her "2000 Victory Express" bus tour.
The Republican incumbent's campaign trip will kick off in Cape Girardeau at 8 a.m. on Monday, campaign aides said.
She will begin the bus tour from the Cape Girardeau County Republican headquarters at 839 N. Kingshighway.
Emerson will visit 31 cities in four days, ending with a campaign stop at 4:45 p.m. on Nov. 2 at the Galaxy Hangar at the Sikeston, Mo., airport.
Other stops on Nov. 1 include the Twin Cities Park in Marble Hill at 3 p.m., Sam's Restaurant in Advance at 4 p.m., Bill's Cafe in Bloomfield at 5 p.m. and state Sen. Bill Foster's campaign office in Dexter at 5:45 p.m.
Stops on Nov. 2 include the community center at Malden at 8:45 a.m. and the public library at Charleston at 3:45 p.m.
