Boy Scout Troop 5, sponsored by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3838 in Cape Gir-ardeau and its ladies' auxiliary, will conduct the Pledge of Allegiance and salute of the flag prior to the Cape Girardeau Municipal Band concert at 8 p.m. Wednesday in Capaha Park.
The troop will begin distributing VFW flag literature at 7 p.m. prior to the concert.
Special entertainer for the concert will be Robyn Hosp, and celebrity guest director will be Scout leader Jerry Hampton.
Pieces are to include "The Klaxon," a march by Henry Fillmore; "The Impresario Overture" by Wolfgang Ama-deus Mozart; "Instant Concert," an arrangement of melodies by Harold Walters; "Circus Days March or Gallop" by Karl King; "Rondo," the third movement of John Paynter's arrangement "Prelude, Sicilano and Rondo;" "The Billboard March" by John Klohr; "Folklore for Band" by Jim Andy Caudill; "Beguine Festival" by arranger Glenn Osser and "Selections from My Fair Lady" by arranger Robert Russell Bennett.
