CAPA GIVES TO UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIPS

The Cape Area Personnel Association has donated $1,000 to the Southeast Missouri University Foundation to support two scholarship funds.

The organization's donation will be divided between the Restricted CAPA Human Resource Scholarship and the Endowed CAPA Human Resource Scholarship.

Both scholarships will be awarded to students in human resource management and who are members of the student chapter of the Society of Human Resource Management. Students must maintain a 3.0 grade-point average, show financial need and be from Southeast Missouri.

The scholarship committee will select the recipients.

The restricted scholarship will be awarded for the first time this fall.

CAPA is a professional organization of people from businesses in the Cape Girardeau, Jackson, Scott City, Perryville and surrounding area.
