Texas hasn't solved illegal-alien problem

To the editor:

In response to the letter "Missouri should remove illegal aliens": Missouri's illegal-alien problem has been a problem for Texans for years. The immigration buses run daily. Just days after the illegal aliens get off in Mexico, they are back in the United States illegally. One of the first things they do is obtain some kind of ID and head straight to the welfare office. They can get a work permit and come here legally and then file for citizenship, but that's too easy. They'd rather take the chance of getting caught. Gov. Rick Perry and those before him haven't got it under control, so I wouldn't look for Gov. Matt Blunt to handle it any better or faster in Missouri.
