To the editor:

Attention HMO/pharmacy patients: Get all the facts about Missouri House Bill 335/Senate Bill 223.

HB335/SB223, now pending in the Missouri Legislature, will give you the opportunity to purchase the same quantity of medicine at the same copayment from your community pharmacist as from a mail-order house.

Some mail-order companies, and others, are misrepresenting this legislation with the suggestion that it will increase the cost of your prescription. This is untrue.

What HB335/SB223 do is prevent your health plan from forcing you to pay more if you want to get your prescriptions from your community pharmacist.

Stand up for your rights to receive the pharmacy care you want and deserve.

Call your state senator and representative today and tell him/her that you want the right to choose your pharmacy.
