A new manufacturer is locating in Cape Girardeau, and we extend them a hearty welcome to town.

Texberry Container Co., a Houston-based manufacturer, will establish a plant in the Nash Road Industrial Park. The company will occupy 70,000 square feet of the 270,000 feet warehouse. The building was recently purchased by Penzel & Co. and is leased by Golden Cat Corp.

The company makes plastic containers for Golden Cat products. The plant will employ about 10-12 at the start, but will also add precious dollars to the local economy.

This new plant proves the value not just of new business, but of existing industry that can draw new commerce to town.
