Ziegler - 50 Years

Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Ziegler of Cape Girardeau celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner at their home April 23, 2010.

Hosts were their children, Becky (Mike) Kirby and Rick Ziegler of Jackson, Tammy (David) VanGennip of Advance, Mo., and Nancy (Bryan) Greaser of Cape Girardeau.

Mass was celebrated April 24 at Immaculate Conception Church in Jackson, with the Rev. John Harth officiating.

A family cruise to Cozumel, Mexico, is planned in November.

Ziegler and Berniece Beussink were married April 23, 1960, at St. John's Catholic Church in Leopold, Mo., by the Rev. Stolle.

The couple has 10 grandchildren, Trent (Cammie) Essner, Heather Kirby, Tyler Essner, David and Darren VanGennip, Jason Kirby, Allie and Anna Ziegler, Sierra and Brooklyn Greaser.
