Wormington - 50 years

Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Wormington Sr. of Jackson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to the St. Louis Botanical Gardens June 8, 2008.

Hosts were their son and daughter-in-law, Marvin and Cheryl Wormington Jr.

Wormington and Kay Andris were married June 8, 1958, at Fairview, Mo., by the Rev. Fred Cunningham.

The Wormingtons have two children, Marvin and Cheryl Wormington Jr. of Jackson, and Debbie and Bill Irmen of Claremore, Okla.

They have six grandchildren, Matthew, Joseph, Amanda, Spencer, Patrick and Payten; and a great-grandson, Matthew Jr.
