Westrich - 60 Years

Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Westrich of Cape Girardeau celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary by renewing their vows at a Mass Oct. 23, 2010, at St. Mary Cathedral. A dinner and reception followed at the Knights of Columbus Hall, hosted by their children.

Westrich and Joyce Heuring were married Oct. 14, 1950, at St. Augustine Church in Kelso, Mo., by the Rev. Joe Keusenkothen. Their attendants were Rita Westrich Wahl, Ellen Heuring LaCroix, Norma Glueck Welch, Paulette Colliflower Hamm, Alfred Westrich and Jim Seyer.

The Westrichs have six children, Sharon (Don) Call, Diane (Steve) Mueller and Bob Westrich, all of Cape Girardeau, John Westrich, Mary Sue (Neil) Conrad and Ruth (Jon) Parks of Jackson.

They have 12 grandchildren, Christine (Matt) Lacy and Matthew Call of Cape Girardeau, Donny (Melinda) Call of Republic, Mo., Michael (Anna) Call of Sparta, Mo., Mark (Sarah) Call of Strafford, Mo., Jeff (Jennifer) Mueller of Findlay, Ohio, Caroline (Bryan) Coulter of Jefferson City, Mo., Laura (Ryan) McClard of Jackson, Angela (Eric) Olson of St. Peters, Mo., Jonathan (Kimber) Parks of Whitewater, Taylor and Heather Conrad of Jackson. The couple has eight great-grandchildren, Anna Grace and Olivia Lacy of Cape Girardeau, Nicholas McClard of Jackson, Jocelynn Olson of St. Peters, Sofia Call of Republic, Lucas Call of Sparta, Brynna Parks of Whitewater, and due any day is Logan Mueller of Findlay.
