NEW HAMBURG, Mo. — Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Westrich of New Hamburg celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a dinner at Ryan's Family Steak House May 17, 2008.
Westrich and Veronica Bucher were married April 14, 1948, at St. Lawrence Church in New Hamburg.

They have seven children, Sister Theresa Westrich of St. Paul, Minn., Robert (Diana) Westrich of Kelso, Mo., Calvin Westrich of Festus, Mo., Ruth (Michael) Vetter, Mary (James) Simmons and Jane (Denny) Burford, all of Benton, Mo., and Roger (Pam) Westrich of Cape Girardeau.
The Westrichs have 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
