Westrich -- 65 years

LeRoy J. and Joyce V. Westrich of Cape Girardeau celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary Oct. 24 with a dinner hosted by their children at the home of their daughter, Diane Mueller. Westrich and the former Joyce V. Heuring were married Oct. 14, 1950, at St. Augustine Church in Kelso, Missouri. The Rev. Joseph Keusenkothen performed the ceremony. Attendants were Rita Westrich Wahl, Ellen Heuring LaCroix, James J. Seyer, Alfred Westrich, Paulette Colliflower Hamm and Norma Glueck Welch. The couple has six children, Sharon (Don) Call, John Westrich, Diane (Steve) Mueller, all of Cape Girardeau; Robert Westrich of St. Louis; and Mary Sue (Neil) Conrad and Ruth (Jon) Parks, all of Jackson. The couple also has 12 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
