Vandeven - 60 Years

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry "Jeff" Vandeven of Cape Girardeau and Paducah, Ky., recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

Vandeven and Charlene Bertrand were married Feb. 6, 1951, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fornfelt (Scott City). Their attendants were Charles Schlitt and Denise Hahn.

Mrs. Vandeven is the daughter of the late Charles and Thelma Bertrand. Vandeven is the son of the late Edwin and Mona Vandeven.

He is a retired quality department head with Martin Marietta.

The couple has three children, Jan Harrall of Foley, Ala., Torie Vandeven of Denver, Colo., and Lisa Davis of Missouri City, Texas. They have two grandchildren, Eric Dew of Tulsa, Okla., and Leah Davis of Greeley, Colo.
