SOUTHWEST RECOGNIZES 13 STUDENTS ON HONOR ROLL

Ten Cape Girardeau and three Jackson natives attending Southwest Missouri State University at Springfield were named to the school's honor roll.

The following Cape Girardeau students achieved honor roll status: Kendra L. Brown, Mark A. Brueckner, Jill E. Chong, Rebecca Etherington, John R. Light, Dawn M. McCoy, Jeffrey A. Nall, James E. Outman III and John A. Pfefferkorn.

Jackson students Christy A. Cox, Jacinda Gillham and Polly A. Jones also were named to Southwest's honor roll.

To be eligible for the SMSU honor roll, students must earn at least a 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale and complete at least six credit hours during the semester.
