Smith -- 50 years

LaDonna and Larry D. (Donnie) Smith of Frohna, Missouri, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Oct. 16, 2015.

Smith and the former LaDonna Rudert were married Oct. 16, 1965, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Jackson. The Rev. Walter Keisker performed the ceremony.

The couple has two children: Debra (Smith) Saadi and Lorie Smith, both of Frohna. The couple also has three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The Smiths celebrated their anniversary by taking a trip out West and riding a train to the Grand Canyon.
