Sebastians mark 60 years

Mr. and Mrs. Vern H. Sebastian of Jackson recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. The couple was honored at a family dinner at the home of their daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Wayne Parenteau of Jackson.

Sebastian and Viola M. Welty were married Feb. 27, 1943, at Emanuel United Church of Christ in Jackson, by the late Rev. H.H. Borne.

The couple has four grandchildren, Tara Parenteau and Aimee and David Gilbertson of Jackson, Gina and Ben Bishop of Cape Girardeau, and Ryan Parenteau of St. Louis. They also have a great-grandson, Austin Gilbertson.
