Sebastian - 60 years

Freeman and Shirley Sebastian of Jackson celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a family reception Sept. 1, 2013, at their home.

The couple was married Aug. 23, 1953, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Jackson, by the Rev. O.H. Pooker.

They have three children, Randy and Mary Sebastian of Wichita, Kan., Sherry Sebastian and Tony Jesse of Jefferson City, Mo., and Patty Sebastian and Jeff Sherman of St. Louis. The Sebastians have seven grandchildren, Adan and Annie Sebastian, Skyler Jesse, Tyler and Hailey Sherman, Jeremy (Heather) Jesse, and Heather (Dennis) Coventon. There are four great-grandchildren, Presten and Cameren Jesse, and Lilly and Roman Coventon.
