Sanders and Margaret Surgalski were married June 23, 1972, at Plumfield Christian Church in Plumfield, Ill. Paul Odum conducted the ceremony. Their attendants were Gail Adelsberger and David Jordan.
The couple has two children, Aimee (Robert) Wigfall of Carbondale, Ill., and Darren (Katie) Sanders of Wentzville, Mo. They have five grandchildren.
