Rust - 60 years

Mr. and Mrs. Harry William Rust of Cape Girardeau will observe their 60th wedding anniversary Aug. 8.

Harry and the former Barbara Lee Rose were married Aug. 8, 1954, at Centenary United Methodist Church, by Dr. Robert C. Holliday.

Harry is the son of Wayne and Eva Rust, founders of Rust and Martin. He is an A.S.I.D. interior designer. Barbara is the daughter of Dr. Forrest H. and Ruth Rose. Her father was dean at Southeast Missouri State University 25 years.

They are lifelong residents of Cape Girardeau and retired owners of Rust and Martin Home Furnishings.

The Rusts have three sons, Stephen, David and Michael Rust; three grandchildren, Ashley Rust, Tanner Rust, and Bailey Rust Lundstrom; and a great-granddaughter, Kimberly Dakota Lundstrom.
