Roth - 50 Years

Mr. and Mrs. Richard Roth of Scott City celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner and reception Jan. 1, 2012, at Eisleben Lutheran Church Parish Hall.

Hosts were their children.

Roth and Doris Kenkel were married Dec. 24, 1961, by the Rev. Seboldt, at Eisleben Church. Their attendants were Rose Kassel and Ralph Roth.

The Roths have four daughters, Karen Medlin and Sharon Lee of Scott City, Brenda Roth of Murphysboro, Ill., and Linda Phillips of Scott City. They have five grandchildren, Ashley Zeigler, Shawn Lee, Chelsea Phillips, Erika Medlin, and Travis Phillips; and a great-grandchild, Avery Zeigler.
