Scott County Road Work: Expect delays on Route W and Route U from July 8-10 due to seal coat operations. MoDOT advises caution and provides details on their website or via their customer service line.
Seal coat operations to impact traffic in Scott County
Missouri Department of Transportation crews will be making driving surface improvements on two Scott County roads. According to a MoDOT news release, seal coating will take place on Route W, from County Road 413 to Route P near Oran, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, Monday, July 8, and Tuesday, July 9. Likewise, the pavement improvement is scheduled for Route U, from Route H to U.S. 61 near Haywood City, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 10.
All work is weather permitting. Work zones will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling near those areas. For more information about these projects, contact MoDOT’s Customer Service Center at (888) 275-6636 or visit modot.org/southeast.
