Richardson -- 70 years

Stanley B. and Irene A. Richardson of Cape Girardeau celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on Nov. 29, 2015, with a gathering of immediate family members at Ryan's Restaurant in Cape Girardeau.

Richardson and the former Irene A. Ford were married Nov. 26, 1945, in Jackson. The couple has five children: Stanley B. (Jeanne) Richardson Jr. of St. Charles, Missouri; Connie Wells of Fruitland; Donna (Doug) Niemeier of Cape Girardeau; Kenneth R. Richardson of Cape Girardeau; and Darren Richardson of Los Angeles. The couple also has eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
