Reutzel - 55 years

Mr. and Mrs. Cletus Reutzel of Jackson celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary with a luncheon and reception Dec. 25, 2008, at the home of Harold and Linda Watson of Jackson.

Other children attending were Larry Reutzel of Norman, Okla., and Randy Reutzel of Marietta, Ga.

The couple then visited the Grand Ole Opry, as they did on their wedding trip.

Reutzel and Louella Stephens were married Dec. 25, 1953, at Marble Hill, Mo., by the Rev. Floyd Grindstaff, brother-in-law of the groom. Their attendants were Wilma and Earl Stratton, sister and brother-in-law of the bride.

The Reutzels are members of First General Baptist Church in Jackson.
