Retherford - 50 years

Mr. and Mrs. David Ray Retherford Sr. of Oak Ridge observed their 50th wedding anniversary with an open house and dinner Aug. 11, 2007, at their home.

Hosts were their children and grandchildren.

Retherford and Marilyn Rose Bahr were married Sept. 21, 1957, at Church of Genevieve in Ste. Genevieve, Mo., by the Rev. Unterreiner. Their attendants were Elaine and Delores Bahr, Charles Retherford and Kenny Davis.

They have four children, Mary (Virgil) Freeman of Oak Ridge, David (Jackie) Retherford Jr. of Advance, Mo., Evelyn (Barry) Gilliland of Millersville, and Mark (Barb) Retherford of Jackson. The couple has 18 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
