Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Proctor of Cape Girardeau will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary Tuesday.
Proctor and Kathryn "Katy" Revelle were married June 7, 1941, in Oran, Mo.
He is a retired postal clerk. Mrs. Proctor retired as cafeteria manager at Franklin School. Formerly of Chaffee, Mo., they have lived in Cape Girardeau 49 years and are members of Lynwood Baptist Church.
The Proctors have two children, Brenda (John) Faris and David (Jeanie) Proctor of Cape Girardeau. They have five grandchildren, Steve Faris of Cape Girardeau, Stuart (Megan) Faris of Webster Groves, Mo., Amy Proctor of Dallas, Texas, Andrea (Tarlton) Brewer of Richmond, Va., and Kipp Proctor of Bozeman, Mont. The couple has two great-grandchildren, Delia and Grady Faris of Webster Groves.
