Preussers mark 50th event

Mr. and Mrs. Norman Preusser of Jackson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception Saturday at their home.

Hosts were their children and spouses: Connie and Darrell Ulrich of Jackson, Peggy and Doug Goodson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa., and Tony and Iris Preusser of Friedheim.

Preusser and Ruby Bodenschatz were married June 26, 1954, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Shawneetown, by the Rev. A.C. Bernthal. Their attendants were Oscar Preusser and Louise Katt.

The couple has five grandchildren: Dana Ulrich of St. Louis, Kara (Mike) Leeber of Waynesville, Mo., Matt (Sarah) Preusser of Friedheim, Sarah Goodson and Luke Goodson of Cedar Rapids.
