Pennington - 50 Years

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. -- Mr. and Mrs. Rayburn Pennington of Poplar Bluff will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a reception from 7 to 9 p.m. Aug. 28 at Westwood Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff.

Pennington and Ernestine Morrison were married Aug. 27, 1959, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Poplar Bluff, by Joe Brandon. Their attendants were Frances Owens and David Pennington.

The couple has two children, Brenda Smith of Jackson, and Darrell Pennington who died in 1986. They have a granddaughter, Stephanie Smith of Jackson.
