KELSO, Mo. -- The congregation of St. Augustine Catholic Church celebrates the 100th anniversary of the construction of its church; after an anniversary Mass in the morning, a parade leads revelers to Kelso Community Park, where activities for adults and children are held.

The Rev. Louis Launhardt, pastor of St. Andrew Lutheran Church, is honored during worship services for his 25 years of ministry to the congregation; guest speaker is the Rev. Donald Loesch, pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Perryville, Missouri.

FROHNA, Mo. -- Rescue workers discover parts of a human skeleton in the morning about 200 feet down a ravine from where the wreckage of a light aircraft was found yesterday afternoon 5 1/2 miles northeast of Brazeau, Missouri; the plane has been tentatively identified as belonging to the Four Square Flying Club of St. Louis and rented to a St. Louis man; it was reported missing in September 1963.

Joel A. Montgomery of Sikeston, Missouri, has purchased the Town House Motel at the Broadway-U.S. 61 intersection for approximately $750,000; the previous owner was the Rev. Gayle Jackson.

The tent revival being conducted by the Rev. Evelyn Taylor, the "Singing Evangelist," at Lorimier and William streets will continue another week, the fourth week of the campaign.

The Rev. J. Wilson Crichlow, superintendent of the Cape Girardeau district of the Methodist Church, again speaks at morning services at Centenary Methodist Church; this is the 10th Sunday the pastor, the Rev. Don E. Schooler, has been away from Cape Girardeau; he and his wife, who have been touring Europe, are expected to land in New York on their return trip today.

Marshal O.W. Hull, who has won a reputation as a guardian of morals in communities where he has worked, is in Cape Girardeau seeking a place on the police force; he recently resigned his job as day policeman at Oran, Missouri.

The Chautauqua starts on time in the morning, despite the rain; it has been so long since rain of any consequence fell, it seems many people are delighted to be out in it.
