The Southeast Missourian, Cape Girardeau's daily newspaper for 82 years, has been sold to Gary W. Rust, president of Concord Communications here, effective tomorrow, it is announced by Michael J. Sexton, Missourian publisher, and Rust; Thomson Newspapers has owned the Missourian since 1977.
Parking in the downtown parking lot at Main and Independence streets has been changed; in the westernmost section of the lot, parking has been prohibited on the east side; this section of the lot is now a northbound thoroughfare.

Hoffman, his deputies and state troopers are investigating safe burglaries at Gordonville and at Delta, the would-be thieves failing to get money in either case; the Goodwin Poultry Co. office at Delta was entered last night, and the Gordonville Milling Co. plant at Gordonville was burglarized early yesterday.
