County Park Lake, located on U.S. 61, opened Friday; fishing on lake is open to people 16 years and younger, 60 years and older and the handicapped.

Camp Lewallen, Southeast Missouri Boy Scout Camp near Silva, will probably have biggest camping season of its history this summer; well over 1,000 boys will attend, according to advanced registration figures.
