Telethon to benefit preservation of historic Old Lorimier Cemetery raised more than $10,000 yesterday; money from telethon, hosted by city's Historic Preservation Commission and Historical Association of Greater Cape Girardeau, will be used to erect fence around cemetery to protect it against vandalism.
