LAKELAND, Fla. -- Playing Florida Southern in the NCAA Division II quarterfinals, the Southeast Missouri State University Indians fall behind by as many as 15 points in the first half, but fight back to within two, 74-72, with 2:06 remaining; finally, however, the Tribe falls, 78-75.

White slave conditions finally have reached such an obnoxious point in Cape Girardeau that merchants here have filed a complaint with United States Agent Ed Drum.
