Gieschen is installed as pastor of Scriptural Lutheran Church on Bend Road; he is graduate of University of Wisconsin and of Martin Luther Institute of Sacred Studies in Shepherd, Mich.; he is installed by the Rev. Carl Rusch, who has served Scriptural Church as pastor for three years.
Dr. H. Joseph Campbell, pastor of Mafeking Baptist Church in Libertas, South Africa, is guest speaker at morning and evening services at Red Star Baptist Church; Campbell is one of several South African ministers who are scheduled for speaking engagements in this country.

Mrs. J.J. Cunningham and Delia Kimmel, proprietors of Eat Shop, 302 Broadway, dissolved their partnership last week, each going into separate business for herself.
At assembly Friday morning at Teachers College, Women's Athletic Association awarded emblems to many girls who had qualified during year in various sports; nine awards were granted in soccer, six in volleyball, and four in hiking.
