Taking steps to align themselves with peace officers in combating organized criminal gangs, Cape Girardeau County Bankers Association has agreed to equip each bank with at least one high-powered rifle and sawed-off shotgun and to appear before city councils and county court to ask that police and county officers be similarly equipped.
