The Cape Girardeau County Commission formally approves the county's $3.8 million operating budget for 1986 amid warnings that cutbacks are expected in the coming year.
Part-time students at Southeast Missouri State University will be paying less under a plan approved by the board of regents; under the new fee structure, Missouri part-time undergraduates will pay $50 per hour instead of the present $72, up to a maximum of $500 for 10 to 18 credit hours.
