Mr. and Mrs. Paul Oliver of Cape Girardeau are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary today with their family.

Paul and the former Eleanor Jo Kirn were married Aug. 31, 1954, at St. Mary's Cathedral in Cape Girardeau, by Monsignor Marion F. Forst.

Paul is the son of the late Lawrence and Alma Oliver. Eleanor is the daughter of the late Armour and Edna Kirn.

The Olivers have three children, Mark (Kandee) Oliver and Karen (Chris) Rosenquist of Cape Girardeau, and the late Gary Joseph Oliver. They have nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Paul is retired from Ryder Logistics and Eleanor is retired from Schott & Co. Accounting.
