Mr. and Mrs. Calvin P. Nebel of Cape Girardeau recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.

The events included bowling at West Park Lanes, dinner party at Ray's in Kelso, Mo., attended services at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Chaffee, Mo., and dined together at Saxony Village, where the couple lives. Their children and spouses were hosts.

Nebel and Gladys Ella Keller were married Aug. 11, 1946, at Zion Lutheran Church near Gordonville, by the Rev. G.B. Seboldt.

He served in the South Pacific during World War II, and worked for Missouri Utilities 41 years. Mrs. Nebel assisted with the family poultry business, and worked for Selective Service and Cape Ready Mix.

Their children and spouses are: Tom and Sue Nebel and Rob and Ginnie Nebel of Clarksville, Tenn., Mary and Larry Urhahn of Benton, Mo., and Chris and Charlie Cott of Columbia, Mo. They have 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
