TAMMS, Ill. -- Mr. and Mrs. Roy Eugene Miller of Tamms celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Aug. 13, 2004, with a family dinner at Drury Lodge in Cape Girardeau.
Hosts were their son and daughter-in-law, Kent and Ginger Miller of Sikeston, and their daughter, Marcy Miller of Jeanerette, La.

Miller and Wilma Jordan were married Aug. 13, 1954, in Corinth, Miss.
He was an engineering technician 33 years with state of Illinois. Mrs. Miller taught 35 years at Thebes and Egyptian high schools.
The Millers have two grandchildren, Jordan and Byron Miller of Sikeston.
