Menard -- 60 years

Don and Karen Menard celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Oct. 21, 2015, at the Savanna Center in The Villages, Florida. A reception and party with lunch were hosted by the couple's children and two of their grandchildren.

Menard and the former Karen Kirkbride were married Oct. 21, 1955, at Malden Methodist Church in Malden, Missouri.

The couple is formerly of Cape Girardeau. Don retired in 2000 as a State Farm agent and the couple settled in Florida in 2005.

The couple has four children, Bruce and Unjoo Menard of Chesterton, Indiana, Leanne and Mike Bollinger of Jackson, Kirk and Judy Menard of Wentzville, Missouri, and Steve and Melissa Menard of Columbia, Missouri. The couple also has seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
