Mangels - 50 years

Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Mangels of Oak Ridge celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house March 16, 2008, at New Salem United Methodist Church in Daisy.

Hosts were their children and grandchildren.

The couple renewed their vows during the morning worship service, with their grandchildren standing up with them. The Rev. Doug McClellan performed the ceremony.

The Mangels were married March 16, 1958, at Oak Ridge United Methodist Church.

Their children and spouses are Weston and Sandy Mangels of Jackson, Kent and Teal Mangels of Oran, Mo., and Steve and Kathy Mangels of Oak Ridge.

Their grandchildren are Darla Mangels of Jackson; Kirstie, Reece and Garrison Mangels of Oran; and Lindsey, Shelby and Tessa Mangels of Oak Ridge.
