Lunsford - 60 Years

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Lunsford of Cape Girardeau celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a dinner Jan. 9, 2011, at Branding Iron in Jackson.

Hosts were their children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Lunsford and Marian Schlegel were married Jan. 13, 1951, by the Rev. Melzer, at Trinity Lutheran Church. Their attendants were the late Virginia Popp, sister of the bride, and Bill Schlegel of Kelso, Mo.

The couple has four children, Diana King, Donna Birk, Jim Lunsford, all of Cape Girardeau, and Steve Lunsford of Arab, Mo. They have six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
